The main props we used in our video where part of the travellers outfit. The hat, gloves, cape, cane and suitcase all make up part of the Travellers look. This items signify an older character, however the character is clearly young and targeted at a younger audience. The outfit itself is quite quirky and eccentric which is often associated with an older person. We took some inspiration for the outfit from Doctor Who's Tom Baker. This shows a contrast between the young actor and older connotations associated with the outfit. The archaic signifiers of the outfit a juxtoposed to the modern scenery as well as the genre of music and performance footage. The outfit also contrasts with the tie dye t-shirt which overall creates an interesting visual appeal.
