Tools Used In Creating The Magazine Ad Text

First of all for this magazine add I made the text. The text had 3 effects on it, Including Drop shadow, Starglow and Wave warp. First of all I used Drop shadow to create the look of the text floating of the ground and altered the shadow distance to change the look of the text. Trapcode plugin Starglow was used to create the orange and red glow around the text. I altered light lengths and the colour map in order to create the desired effect. The wave warp was used to make the text look slightly displaced as you can see by comparing the first and final drafts. Finally I masked around the travellers shoulder on the text to increase the three dimensional look of the text. I made the text a 3d object so I could alter the coordinates on the X, Y and Z axis on the text. Similar effects where also used on the circle behind the text.
